unless you're really serious about learning 'Javascript', don't bother trying to create
your own scripts. Just use the hundreds of free scripts available on the web, because
whatever 'magic' web feature you think up you can almost guarantee someone else has
already written the script and has made it available for you to use FREE. What can Javascript do.? Well, just about anything really. I'm sure you've seen some of the images below on other pages of this site. The bottom ones' are screen captures of some of my web sites and little 'Compy' is our MAERDY.NET mascot. Anyway, by the magic of Javascript you can drag the images anywhere you like. Text too. Try the 'Hi there!" text in the title. Now that's what Javascript can do. But take a look at the
code (View / Source) and then tell me you want to write your own. |
